Here are some steps and tips for switching your event to an online event.
First, you'll want to change the Event Location to Online Event. To do this, you will need to:
- login to your event
- select 'Menu' near the top right hand corner of the page
- select 'Event Details' from the drop down
- on the 'Event Details' page, select the 'Online Event' option in the 'Address' section
- select 'Next'
Then, you will want to add some information (e.g. webinar login details, conference call number, etc.) to your 'Confirmation Email' about how your attendees can join your Online Event. To do this, you will need to:
- login to your event
- select 'Menu' near the top right hand corner of the page
- select 'Tickets' from the drop down
- select 'Email'
- in the field labelled 'Confirmation Email Message' enter details about how your attendees can join your Online Event
- select 'Save' when done
Next, you'll want to update the Event Description to reflect the change to an Online Event.
IF you are on Floktu SWIFT, you will need to:
- login to your event
- select 'Menu' near the top right hand corner of the page
- select 'Logo' from the drop down
- update the 'Event Description'
- select 'Next'
IF you are on Floktu PRO, you will need to:
- login to your event
- select 'Menu' near the top right hand corner of the page
- select 'Content' from the drop down
- select the page which contains your event details
- select 'Edit this page'
- update the content
- select 'Save'
Finally, you'll want to notify anyone who has already registered about the change. There's a couple of ways to do this. You can either:
- Download the Floktu Orders Report, extract your registrants email and email them using your email client (e.g. Gmail, etc.). Here's a support article for accessing Floktu Reports
TIP: use the BCC option so that your registrants don't see each others email addresses - Use our MailChimp integration if you already use Mailchimp. Here's our Mailchimp support article.
- If you are a Floktu PRO client, you can use the 'Marketing Email' feature to send up to 3 email blasts - check out this user guide for instructions
